Middle Branch of the Patapsco River

Baltimore, MD, August 8, 2009: To the south of Federal Hill lies the Middle Branch of the Patapsco River. The Middle Branch is about three times larger than the Inner Harbor and is crossed by the elegant Hanover Street Bridge. Along the south bank lies the 150-acre Middle Branch Park which appears to have been reclaimed from the factories of earlier centuries. The park is home to the Baltimore Rowing Club and attracts rowers, fishermen, and crabbers. From the park there are great views of downtown Baltimore and the freeways.

Hi David,

Lovely pictures. Any chance you know where I could get my hands on a map of the Middle Branch watershed? It is probably almost identical to the Patapsco River watershed but I would love to compare if it were possible.

Thanks,

Christine
