Tybee Island Fireworks

Tybee Island, GA, July 3, 2009: We spent much of the day at the beach and then went back for the fireworks after sunset. Along the causeway that connects Tybee to Wilmington Island, one sees to the north oceangoing vessels plying the Savannah River [the Port of Savannah is 18 miles upriver from the Atlantic], and to the south the sea marshes of the Low Country:
