The Snowpocalypse

Washington, DC, February 5-10, 2010: THE FIRST ROUND: Snow started falling midday Friday and continued into Saturday night. This is the situation late Saturday afternoon as we shoveled for the third time:

THE INTERVAL: There was sun and melting on Sunday and Monday but our street did not see a snow plow until Tuesday.

THE SECOND ROUND: Snow started Tuesday evening and slowed midafternoon Wednesday. High winds are expected to blow snow around and cause drifting overnight.
